Who I am…
I am a West Coast turned small-town, Midwest mom. I live with my husband and have 3 young adult daughters. I am also dog mom to our 2 pups, Ollie and Gracie. I am dedicated to keeping my life as simple as possible and to helping others do the same.
I have a lot of energy and love to see a space go from a cluttered mess to organized, functional, and supportive. I started my business in 2013. My clients have taught me so much over the years. I know what works and what pitfalls to help them avoid. I have also come to realize that many of my clients share the same struggles, so they are less alone in what they are facing than they realize.
With a B.A. degree in Psychology, and additional coaching education, psychology and self-improvement are both passions of mine. I believe in a holistic view of organizing. Clearing our minds of the clutter and chaos in our lives is just as important as clearing our physical clutter.
Back when I first started my professional organizing journey, I had what I thought of as a dirty little secret. I have ADHD (which explains all my energy), and I knew that those with ADHD can really struggle with staying organized. I had a case of imposter syndrome and mostly kept the fact that I had ADHD to myself. That is, until I learned that there are other successful professional organizers out there who have also learned to compensate for their ADHD the same way that I have.
As it turns out, my need for order and simplicity stems from having ADHD; it’s just the way my unique brain works. So my gifts and my challenges are all tied together to create who I am. I am able to relate to and help others with ADHD as a result of my own coping methods that I have developed for myself. Today, I am able to fully embrace my ADHD and help others do the same.
